JAMMU, Oct 6: A woman has been gangraped by three persons in an area falling under the jurisdiction of Bishnah Police Station.
As per police sources, a lady hailing from Tehsil RS Pura lodged a complaint with Police Station Bishnah stating that three persons identified as Devinder Singh, son of Balbir Singh, Sachin Kumar, son of Sohan Lal and Ajay Kumar, son of Bhola Ram, all residents of Laswara took turns to rape her.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 172/19 under section 376 RPC has been registered at Bishnah Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the rapists.
After conducting medical examination, the woman has been handed over to family members.
However, no arrest was made till last reports were compiled.
