POONCH, Sept 26: A middle-aged woman was killed, after she fell down from a hill at village Brari in Poonch this afternoon.
A police spokesman identified the deceased as 41-year-old Noorjahan, wife of Mohd Qasim, resident of village Brari. The incident took place when the woman had gone to bring fodder (green grass) from the nearby forest area for her cattle. While climbing a hill, she was cutting grass. She slipped and rolled down and reportedly killed on the spot. The family members came to know about the matter and rushed there. They brought her to hospital but doctors declared her as dead.
