UDHAMPUR, Apr 14: A young woman died after a car, she was traveling in along with her husband, rolled down into deep gorge after being hit by a truck on the National Highway at Tali Bari, near Kud.
The Alto car, bearing registration number JK01L-4542, was on way from Kashmir to Jammu when it was hit by truck JK02T-1147. The woman was crushed to death as she came under the car after getting pushed out of window while her husband sustained minor injuries in the mishap.
Police shifted the duo to Sub District Hospital Chenani where doctors declared the woman as brought died. The deceased was identified as Zahira Banoo (35), wife of Mohammad Ismail of Kargil.
