JAMMU, Sept 6: A woman, who was seriously injured in a mysterious fire on August 17 at her residence in Channi area of city outskirts, today succumbed to her injuries here in Government Medical College and Hospital.
The woman has been identified as Sheela Kumari (28) wife of Shiv Kumar, a resident of Chhatisgarh (at present Channi). She had received serious injuries in the fire that broke out at her residence on August 17. Since then she was battling for life at GMCH Jammu where she expired today at about 10.30 am.
The body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities. The concerned police has already taken cognizance of the matter.
