JAMMU, Feb 23: A woman died due to burn injuries in Janipur area of the winter capital today.
As per reports, 40-year-old Shahida, wife of Mohammad Amin, a resident of Janipur received serious burn injuries at her residence late last night.
She was rushed to Government Medical College and Hosptial (GMCH) where she failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to her burn injuries.
The body was handed over to family members for last rites after completing legal formalities.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at police station Janipur and investigation started.
