UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: A woman died today after she fell from a tree while two persons were injured in separate road accidents in the district.
According to a police spokesman, a woman identified as Koshalya Devi (50) wife of Sita Ram, resident of Kadiya Tanas, tehsil Chenani, fell off a tree, near her residence, following which her family members took her in unconscious condition to Sub District Hospital Chenani, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
Meanwhile, a youth identified as Pushap (20) son of Durga dass, resident of Ram Ghar, district Samba, was injured when a motorcycle bearing registration number JK21C-6170 on which he was travelling, got slipped near Khari on National Highway, Udhampur. Locals shifted the injured youth to District Hospital Udhampur, from where he was referred to GMC Jammu.
Another road accident occurred at Udhampur, where an unknown vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian namely Rajni Devi (31) wife of Kuldeep of village Sui in Udhampur. She was shifted to District Hospital, Udhampur for treatment.
The concerned police had taken cognizance in all the cases.
