JAMMU, Oct 31: A woman died of electrocution in Chattha area of city outskirts, late last night.
According to a police official, the woman identified as Kavita Devi (40) wife of Som Lal, resident of Chattha inadvertently came in contact with a live wire at her residence last night. In unconscious condition she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter and after completing all medico-legal formalities, handed over the body to its legal heirs for last rites.
