UDHAMPUR, Nov 18: A woman died and seven persons injured in collision of two cars on the National Highway near Chenani, here today.
According to the police reports, a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK14B-1833 collided with a car bearing number JKM-3636 on the National Highway near Chenani Top.
The deceased was identified as a Zava Begam wife of Abdul Shan of Neel Banihal.
The injured identified as Gulshan Begam wife of Abdul Qayoom of Neel Banihal, Hajra Begam wife of Saki Mohd of Chenani, Abdul Saban son of Aijaz of Neel Banihal, Nasima Begam wife of Shamsu Din of Neel Banihal, Pervez Ahmad son of Shamsu Din of Chenani, Abdul Rashid son of Mohd Abdul Shan of Neel Banihal, Chenani.
