JAMMU, Feb 11: A young woman today made an abortive attempt on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Lower Muthi area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Preeti Peshion (24) wife of Ashu Peshion, a resident of Lower Muthi, allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
The family members immediately rushed her to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where her condition was stated to be stable.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
