JAMMU, Mar 13: A woman allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance in Bakshi Nagar area.
As per police sources, a woman namely Anita Kumari, wife of Manish Gupta allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Bakshi Nagar.
She was admitted in Government Medical College and Hospital yesterday where she breathed her last today morning.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased lady was handed over to family members for last rites.
Inquest proceedings under Section 172 CrPC have been initiated by Bakshi Nagar Police in this regard.
