KATHUA, Aug 29: Basohli police nabbed a woman along with large quantity of illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, based on reliable information, a team from Police Station Basohli laid a special naka at Bani road and arrested a lady along with 40 pouches of illicit liquor.
The arrested lady has been identified as Primbla Devi, wife of Puran Chand, a resident of Janu Bhoond.
A case under FIR Number 66/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Basohli and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Basohli Inspector Kulbir Singh Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Basohli DySP Shivinder Singh Jamwal and SSP Kathua Neeva Jain.
