JAMMU, Dec 31: In view of the prevailing cold wave conditions, the Government today extended winter vacations in schools of summer zone up to January 4.
A formal order in this regard was issued today by the Director School Education Jammu.
Earlier, the winter vacations in schools under summer zone were announced from December 24 to December 31.
Following extension of the winter break, the schools will now reopen on January 6.
