DODA, May 20: Windstorm damaged several structures in different parts of this district here.
As per reports, the roof tops of several houses were damaged in windstorm in many areas.
A strong windstorm that swept across Bhalesaa and Thathri today evening left behind a trail of destruction. Roof tops of many houses and power transmission lines were damaged vis trees uprooted.
SDPO Gandoh Shazada Kabir Matoo told Excelsior that many residential houses were damaged due to the strong winds.
“We have set up a helpline for the people to register the damage caused due to the windstorm”, he added.
Meanwhile, four residential houses and electric wires were also damaged in Sharni Village of Rokali Panchayat in Chiralla due to massive windstorm.
However, heavy windstorm damaged the roofs of two houses in village Malanoo of Tehsil Kahara.
However, No loss of life reported from any corner of the district Doda.
