Sir,
There has been a temporary ban imposed on the sale of “in two minutes” Maggi products manufactured by Nestle India in some States as these have been found containing hazardous substances which are dangerous for human life especially children. The question is what had the previous Congress Government been doing at least for a long period of 10 years in this regard? And the present Government also woke up after one year. The State Government has imposed a ban for one month on the sale of Maggi products. While Maggi has attracted a lot of importance, what about our fruits like apples, mangoes, Mausami, oranges, grapes, water melon and so on ? What about the vegetables like cucumber, sweet gourd, brinjal, cauliflower, pumpkin and host of veggies ? All these are injected to gain in size and weight and are subjected to pesticides, insecticides, wax coating and what not ? Take the case of pulses, mustard oil, butter ghee and dairy products. If it is said that all these are sweet poisons taking heavy toll of kidneys, liver, heart and even brain of poor consumers in India, it won’t be wrong in any way. In the scenario of all poisons and all adulterated, why to identify and catch only poor Maggi? The day our leaders realize that greed for votes is creating havoc and not allow them to act firmly, that day will be achha din followed by all days as such.
Yours etc….
