The question is not why those persons claiming to be “leaders” of the people become so heartless , reckless, indifferent and impetuously speak words which are not only indignantly felt as offensive but seen in the context of how at times they rather behave perfidiously. Kindly recall the arrogant remark in May 2019 of “Hua toh Hua” of Sam Pitroda , one of the intellectuals of think tank of Congress Party and how similar words were spoken by the illustrious son of the “Guru Ji” of Jharkhand ” Yeh sab hota rehta hai” on heart rending incident of burning alive of Ankita, a minor Hindu girl in Dumka Jharkhand . It is one thing that the unfortunate girl was not a close blood relation of any political leader in power in Jharkhand but entirely different as to how such incidents in non BJP ruled sates cause total dumbness to otherwise chirping liberal and democratic opposition leaders and many self styled intellectuals .
Ankita’s burning alive causing grisliness is not to be confused only with law and order problem, the issue is not to be messed up with manufactured stories, the matter is not to be trivialised with what happened where and when in respect of violence against girls and in states ruled by which party in the country , the problem is not to be kept to the realms of merely the oft repeated, worn out , fatigued , irritating and rendered irrelevant ”Gaur Ninda” and ” Sakht Karvayee Hogi” and at best extending “sympathies” with the bereaved family. The list of beating around and about the bush in this connection by a few official spokespersons of some political parties and expectedly with their acquiesce , seen almost daily, in fact many a time on the same day, on the bouts of debates on back to back basis, on most of the TV channels lavishly being telecast but with the caution , ” The views of participants are their personal views and the channel owns no responsibility for that as the channel has no “lena dena” with such views” . Then, why are you conducting these debates if you neither confirm, nor contradict , nor own , nor endorse and nor support the views of the panellists . What is this drama all about?
Now , see the twist and no cogent reply to the core basic question “Why Ankita was burned”, instead resorting to the riddle of the chorus of “Mehangai, Beozgari and Samvidhan bachana” is from all angles brought so much and with such a hullabaloo that our ears are just chewed up listening to the three terms – Mahangai, Berozgaari, Bukhmari etc – day in and day out. It is being deliberately done just to heap predicament on the BJP besides attempting to humble and corner it . This bogey of ”Mehangai” has so much upset some “young ” leaders like Rahul Ji that to convey its intensity , Aata or flour was alleged to be measured (not weighed) in litres under Modi rule in India . Eggs are sold at Rs.6 a kilo under Modi rule as lamented by Congress leader Randeep Surjewala and “Ek sheir main dau jungle nahi rehtey ” in the words of Congress “stalwart” Digvijay Singh . Why so much of a state of upsetting ? Has “unemployment” of the past eight years of some opposition leaders been so much a contributing factor?
In other words, we are now to use new units of measurement for eatables because when demonetization like changes can be brought in by the “fascist” government , why not flour , rice , maize etc asked to be sold in litres and eggs in Kilos ? When “Jawab ka sawaal Chahiye” from Modi like demands reverberate , it becomes all the more interesting . Needless to add, when highly researched Developmental Economics model of ”Escape Velocity Acceleration” of Rahul Gandhi Ji are not understood by ordinary people like us , how can we understand what is sought to be conveyed by the rate of inflation during 10 years of UPA rule mostly having been in double digits as against single digit under the NDA rule despite devastation wrought up by COVID pandemic for two years and longest ever agitation by thousands of farmers .
Mehangai and Berozgari are definitely there as a part of the system but the same are cried out in such a tumultuous manner and with a design and an agenda as if under UPA rule of 10 years , people used to cook only in pure Desi ghee. As if completely ”shudd” and unadulterated pure milk, curd, cheese etc were sold in pennies. As if , there was a scramble in buyers’ market for getting people for employment as there was -nil- unemployment in the country . As if , institutions, offices, factories , concerns, business establishments etc were working with lesser people due to non availability of labour– skilled as well as unskilled. As if medical facilities were superb and provided quite free in all Hospitals . As if corruption was unheard of hence nonexistent . As if, no farmer was in any trouble least committing any suicide but enjoying all the fruits of prosperity heaped on them by the progressive Agricultural Policies of Congress government “headed” by noted Economist Dr. Manmohan Singh and most expert Finance Minister Chidambaram.
Under the ”magnificent” rule of UPA , there was no need of taking the troubles of organising protests like it was done a few days back by wearing dark black gears against the “fascist and divisive” government for “using” ED, IT and CBI to witch hunt and frame ”innocent and honest” political opponents . “Bharat Jodo” and (obsolete and irrelevant ) Pad Yatras like troubles were hardly needed to be taken then as Bharat was fully “Juda Hua”. China and Pakistan were our sincere friends. Kashmir was all peaceful , free of terrorism and Kashmiri Pandits were quite safe , secure and enjoying all liberties and freedom – ready to return to their lost homes but RSS was ”not allowing” that to happen. Terrorism had been wiped out from Jammu and Kashmir “with love and compassion” , with showing olive branches all over and reciprocated positively by those having taken to the gun.
In the din of “Mehangai , Berozgari and Samvidhan ko Khatra” ,therefore, the main question as to why Ankita was burnt alive due to which mentality and how such mentality got emboldened to such an extent, remain unanswered. It was fairly seen when even besides others from the elite secular and highly liberal democratic group of political parties , an Honb’le MP from Jharkhand said that the BJP was politicising the issue and even Basant Soren , the illustrious brother of the CM Hemant Soren gave the “love affair” spin to the horrific and spine chilling crime of burning alive of the innocent minor Hindu girl Ankita in the dead of the night by a stalker Shahrukh Hussain . There could be no parallel to the sheer insensitivity shown by Basant Soren than to insult the young girl who spilled all beans in her last statement before her most tragic death from the hospital bed as to how for days, the brute was harassing and threatening her and she wished “He should die the same way I am dying today” .
Again, the question is not as to why a much hyped and under media glaze political tourism did not take place outside the residence of the poor girl Ankita and for days together. The issue is not why the most ”honest” leader Kejriwal experimenting lavishly new types of politics of freebies in state after state , presently ”busy” in Gujarat to be followed by Jammu and Kashmir , thus hastening India becoming another Venezuela and a Sri Lanka , did not camp there like he and other leaders did in the case of suicide of Rohit Vemula and others . The matter is not also as to why the ”young” Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra did not camp there like they did in Hathras etc . The problem is not as to why CM Hemant Soren or any “big wig” of the JMM did not visit the family of the victim. The pinching apathy and indifference of the Jharkhand administration in not even shifting the victim to Ranchi for better treatment not to speak of taking her to a reputed hospital is also no point at issue .
The question is not how the culprit was smiling while being taken away by the Police as if spitting with disdain on the rotten system of appeasement policy and cheap politics galore and being practiced for decades. The question as such is which mentality , which ambition and which aim are behind gathering such a courage in this country to burn a young minor Hindu girl Ankita right in her home when she was fast asleep. What has caused ”Award Wapsi” intellectuals, ”Candle lighting (burning)” clan, ”Not in my name” elite Company , ”Anti Intolerance” Bunch, ”Secular and liberal thinking Bands” and the like to be struck dumb when it was imperative to speak and raise voice against the heart rending incident of minor Hindu girl Ankita.
