It is customary for political parties and leaders to strongly advocate for ending corruption at the time of seeking votes in elections but soon after the elections nothing solid is seen taking place. The PDP – BJP coalition Government had shown some grit in relieving the administration of a small bit of the dead wood which mainly included the tainted and the suspected corrupt officials.
Many had appreciated the steps of the State Government which had given feelers that a second list was ready to oust in the similar way those who were suspected of having been indulging in corrupt practices. But even after more than two months, the second list is not made public and those included in that shown the door. It is baffling as to why so much of delay in the exercise. Let lists after lists be brought out and all benami properties confiscated immediately.
