SAMBHAL (UP): Against the backdrop of Paris attacks, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah today alleged that the US and other western countries had “given birth” to terrorism whose “creations are attacking them” and questioned the “hue and cry” over such incidents.
“Western countries and the US are responsible for terrorism as they have given birth to it. They are now making a hue and cry after facing attacks,” he told reporters here.
“Muslims are not terrorists. The US and Britain have given birth to terrorism and are now facing it,” he said, adding “Their creations are attacking them, so why are they raising a hue and cry?”
The comments by Abdullah, who was here to attend ‘Kalki Mahotsava’, came in the context of deadly attacks in Paris where gunmen killed 129 people at multiple places four days back. (AGENCIES)
