Week-long Hindi Saptah celebrations conclude

JAMMU, Oct 2: An impressive cultural and prize distribution function marked the culmination of week long Hindi Saptah celebrations at the office of Pr Accountant General J&K, Jammu.
Accountant General Manish Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion while Pr Director RTI D K Bakshi presided over the function.
The function began with lighting of traditional lamp by the guests following which the artists presented Saraswati Vandhana.
Pushpa Jarangal, DAG (E&R) delivered the inaugural address and commended the employees for doing good work in Hindi.
Special attraction of the function was cultural programme, presented by artists of Songs and Drama Division along with the office artists. These artists enthralled the audience with their scintillating performance.
The winners of various competitions, held during the week long celebrations, were awarded with mementoes.
The Accountant General, in his address exhorted the employees to do maximum official work in Hindi.
During the week long celebrations, various Hindi related competitions were held in which the employees of all the three offices participated in large number.
The function was held jointly by Audit, Account and RTI offices for promoting use of Hindi among the office employees.
