KATHUA, Feb 25: Students of various educational institutions today took out a rally on the concluding day of the week long campaign on “Save Water” by Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department here today.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Jatinder Kumar Singh along with officials of PHE Department flagged off the rally, which started from Shaheedi Chowk and after passing through various areas culminated at Main Bazaar.
The week long campaign was organised to aware the masses about saving drinking water from getting wasted and keep the water clean.
During the weeklong campaign, various programmes were organised including painting competition and awareness campaigns, in which students participated actively.
