RAMBAN, May 8: The body of a 25-year-old youth who went missing three days ago was recovered under mysterious circumstances near Railway Bridge in Banihal today evening.
The deceased has been identified Mohammad Arif Gania (25) son of Mohammad Ramzan Ganie, a resident of Chattargam District Shopian. His wedding was scheduled next week.
The body was spotted by locals near railway bridge Banihal and was later recovered by police.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Banihal for completion of medical and legal formalities.
Banihal Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
