Webinar organized by Canadian College, Aryans Institute for Nursing

JAMMU, Sept 1: Aryans Institute of Nursing, Rajpura, near Chandigarh and Sprott Shaw College, Canada jointly organized a webinar on “Nursing Education & Career in Canada”.
Hemant Kumar, Marketing Manager, Sprott Shaw college interacted with the faculty members and students of GNM and ANM of Aryans Institute of Nursing and B Pharma and D Pharma students of Aryans College of Pharmacy and Aryans Pharmacy College in the webinar.
Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Kumar while interacting with the students gave major emphasis on why Canada is the most-preferred destination for study among international students for post-secondary education? He told about various nursing courses & scope of nursing in Canada.
He further added that, students can join Canadian College through Aryans Group of Colleges. The students need to qualify the course eligibility criteria like IELTS score and minimum academic requirements.
He enlightened the students about the future perspectives also. Around 80 per cent of the Registered Nursing (RN) graduates are able to obtain nursing license in Canada within 2 years of graduation, he added.
Kumar gave more information that full-time nursing jobs in Canada are expected to rise by 3.4 per cent which were around 64,000 in 2019 and will be around 142,000 in 2035. Internationally educated nurses increased by 7.8 per cent from 2014 to 2018, representing 8.5 per cent of the total nursing population of Canada.
