KATHUA, June 11: A webinar on ‘New Education Policy 2020: Implementation and the Way Forward’ was held here today at Govt Girdari Lal Dogra Memorial (GLDM) Degree College Hiranagar
in collaboration with Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu and Environment and Social Welfare Society, Khajuraho.
Dr. J.P Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-J was the chief guest while the key resource persons for the webinar were Dr. R.K Srivastava, Professor and Head, P.G Department of Environmental, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Parshant Bakshi, Associate Professor SKUAST-J and Dr. Shalini Suri, Professor, Veterinary Anatomy, SKUAST-J.
Dr. Manmohan Sharma Asst. Director SKUAST also participated in the programme.
The webinar started with welcome address by the Principal Govt. GLDM Degree College Hiranagar, Prof. (Dr.) Pragya Khanna.
Dr. R.K Srivastava discussed in detail the aims, outcomes and strategies in the implementation of NEP-2020.
Dr. Parshant Bakshi, Dr. Shalini Suri and Dr. J.P Sharma also addressed in the webinar.
Vote of thanks was presented by the co-host of the webinar, Dr. Ashwani Kumar Dubey, Executive Director, Environment and Social Welfare Society, Khajraho.
Proceedings of the programme were handled by Dr. Arun Kumar, Head Department of Sociology and Dr. Chinky Sangral, Head, Department of Economics.
