JAMMU, May 20: In a meeting held today Wholesale Cloth Merchants Association (WCMA) put the problems faced by the traders’ community before Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta and Deputy Mayor Purnima Sharma.
These problems included those associated with encroachment, traffic congestion and mismanagement in the old city.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor assured to look into the matter and consider the genuine demands on priority.
On this occasion Association President, Vinay Gupta honoured the Mayor and Deputy Mayor with mementoes.
Vote of thanks was presented by Association Vice President, Laxmi Narayan while other office bearers like General Secretary, Ashwani Arora and Treasurer, Satinder Gupta and others were also present in the meeting.
