JAMMU, May 9: Jammu & Kashmir Unit of the World Brahmin Federation India (WBFI) today honoured Rajeev Kumar Khajuria, presently serving as Joint Commissioner (Administration), Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), with the prestigious Certificate of Excellence.
A delegation of the organization, led by working president RC Sharma and general secretary Mukesh Sharma, visited the office chamber of Khajuria and honoured him for his outstanding administrative abilities, disciplined work culture, and compassionate approach towards addressing the grievances of the common people.
Speaking on the occasion, RC Sharma stated that the World Brahmin Federation India has undertaken a special initiative to honour honest, dedicated, energetic, and people-friendly officers, particularly those who have earned public trust through transparent and efficient service.
He informed that after careful deliberations, the J&K committee of WBFI shortlisted several distinguished officers for recognition. However, the name of Rajeev Kumar Khajuria was unanimously finalized as the first officer in J&K to receive the Certificate of Excellence from the organization.
“The manner in which Khajuria handles public issues with sincerity, promptness, and sensitivity has earned him immense respect among the people. His commitment to public welfare truly makes him deserving of this honour,” Sharma remarked.
Receiving the honour with humility, Khajuria stated that the award has further strengthened his sense of responsibility towards society and public service.
“This recognition is not merely an award, but a reminder that people trust and expect honest service from us. I will continue to work with greater efficiency, honesty, and dedication to uphold the faith reposed in me by the public,” Khajuria said.
Several prominent members of the Federation, including Ashwani Sharma, Parvesh Bali, Dalip Raina, Sanjay Sharma, Ashwani Sharma, Raj Kumar, Krishan Sharma and Darshan Lal were present on the occasion.
