JAMMU, Aug 16: Executive Engineers Jal Shakti/ PHE Jammu City Div-I, has informed that due to urgent repairs being conducted to the mechanical pumping machinery at Sitlee Filtration plant near Nagrota the water supply shall remain affected in many parts of Jammu city on August 17.
He further informed that water supply from Manda shall remain affected/delayed. The main areas being effected today are New Plot, Subhash Nagar, Rehari, Old Janipur, Chowgan Salathian, Mubarak Mandi, Jain Bazar, Moti Bazar, Karan Nagar, Dogra Hall and Kachi Chowni. People are requested to use water judiciously.
