JAMMU, July 1: Executive Engineer PHE City Division number-1 has informed that owing to disruption in power supply from Salal Hydro Electric project from the last two days, the pumping of water has drastically reduced from Sitlee Tawi filtration plant as well as CPS Company Bagh, Muthi, Medical and also from all tube wells.
“So the water supply shall remain affected on July 2, 2019 and people living in old city, Janipur, Roop Nagar, Chinore, Keran, Subash Nagar, Muthi, Talab Tillo, Bantalab and adjoining areas are advised to use water judiciously,” the Executive Engineer said in a handout.
