This is to draw the attention of the PHE authorities towards the artificial water shortage in Peer Baba Lane, Paloura. There is no water shortage but it has been created by value operators who give preferential treatment to certain areas for construction works/business interests at the cost of residents having only one water connection. For the last 20 days the supply of water was disturbed to such an extent that there was no supply at a full pressure, rather the residents got a supply at low pressure. The water supplied is not sufficient to carry out day to day affairs.
As consumer I have noticed the activity of valve operators who cause disturbed supply by keeping the valve of bread factory open fully when valves are required to be kept closed for supply to Lane-1, Lane-2and special line. All the concerned administrative/technical quarter stand informed from time to time about created shortage. The Incharge departmental vigilance wing P.H.E is also requested to watch closely the activities of valve operators.
