This is to draw the attention of the concerned people that for the last 30 months I have been approaching different authorities to improve water supply in our area as per framed mechanism as exised before 6/2004 but nothing has been done so far.
It has been observed that whenever water is supplied as per norms, there is sufficient water available to people. But generally that does not happen. The concerned people do not observe the rules. The present team of AEE/Jr Engg/Inspectors is well aware of the problem, but still seems to be helpless or uninterested in solving the problem.
It may be mentioned here that the 6” pipe to be operated from Dream Land School building to Vivek Vihar stands shifted to Laker Mandi for vested interest. This has reduced water supply to mere 50 percent as was earlier proposed. As the team did not follow the fixed mechanism, there was no water for several days from September 15.
One fails to understand when other areas receive a full supply, why we receive erratic supply.
The matter needs to be thoroughly probed by an independent agency, so that people of this area are not subjected to any kind of harassment and discrimination.
