JAMMU, May 19: Residents of Adarsh Vihar Dilli today alleged that have been facing acute shortage of water for the last couple of weeks.
“Our problem has further been aggravated with supply of muddy water when ever some water is released. During these difficult and trying times people are likely to fall sick due this dirty water,” the residents said.
They said even concerned officials of PHE department expressed helplessness when we approached them on the issue. “Government should at least supply water to the inhabitants through tankers,” they added.
Chairman of Adarsh Vihar Society Balwant Singh said they met concerned officers a number of times in this connection but nothing was done by them do redress the issue.
