SRINAGAR, May 19: The waterlogging of Government Middle School, Sher Colony Sopore has posed threat to the lives of the kids and administration is sleeping over it.
The Principal of the School Imtiyaz Ahmed said that due to frequent waterlogging students are facing immense hardships. “We had repeatedly requested the Government to look into the matter but no attention was paid to resolve this problem. Students are suffering and we are not able to even hold morning Assembly,” the Principal said.
This Government Middle School, which is located at Sher Colony of Sopore Town, is lacking all types of facilities. “No matting facility has been provided to the students. Even chairs are not available for the staff,” a teacher said and appealed Director Education to look into the matter. Director Education, Tariq Ahmad Mir said that he would visit the school and address all the issues.
