UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: A young watchman was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his room at Railway residential quarters in Omala, near Jakheni Udhampur.
According to the police reports, Darvinder Kumar (25), son of Hukam Chand of Pathi Panghara, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances. He was working as watchman at the Railway residential quarters.
The hanging man was spotted by some locals who immediately called the Police, which shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Udhampur Police has registered the case for further investigation in this regard.
