Warm send off given to retiring officers, officials

JAMMU, Apr 1:  Several senior officers of the State Government and Banks etc attained their superannuation and were accorded warm and affectionate send off by their respective officers and colleagues and they were wished hapy and health post-retirement life.
Zahida Parveen Khan,. District Development Commissioner Kathua, was given a warm farewell by officers of the district administration Kathua and many social and cultural organizations. A 1984 batch KAS officer Mrs Khan served in various departments and attained superannuation as DDC Kathua.
J&K Grameen Bank Officers’ Association accorded warm welcome to the new chairman of the Bank, Vageesh Chander Sharma at a function which was organized to bid farewell to out-goinmg chairman Raja Abdul Lateef and others. Association president Mohan Singh Jasrotia and general secretary Viridder Sharma also spoke on the occasion.
Three presidents of Jammu and Kashmir Bank Fazle Mehboob Gani, Bashir Ahmed Lone and Raja Lateef Ahmed were accorded warm send-off at Srinagar today on attaining superannuation on March 31. In his farewell message Fazle Mehboob said, “This day coincides with a historic achievement when the bank has reached yet another milestone in its growth and developmental story”. Bashir Ahmed Lone speaking on the occasion said, “I am satisfied that the Bank all along these years has been scaling new heights and is regarded one among the top ranking Private Sector Banks in the country”.  The Bank’s Assistant President, Shabir Ahmed Khan and Lead District Manager Ganderbal Masood Ahmad Khan also retired from services on March 31. Their contribution was hailed by the staff.
Warm send off was accorded to Saddar Din, commentator, District Information Centre Doda, who retired on attaining superannuation after rendering more than 40 years unblemished services to the State Information Department.
