JAMMU, Sept 29: An impressive function was organised in connection with bidding farewell to IGP Armed/IRP Zone Jammu, Gulzar Singh Slathia, who retired today from service on superannuation after rendering a distinguished service in Police Department for more than 30 years.
On the occasion, DIG IRP Range, Jammu, T Punchok, all Jammu based Armed/IRP Commandants, SSP JB Singh, Staff Officer to IGP Armed/IRP Zone Jammu and other senior officers of the Police Department were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia, expressed gratitude to the Director General of J&K Police, Additional Director General of Police, Armed/Law and Order, J&K Srinagar and other senior officers for their moral support and able guidance during his tenure as IGP Armed/IRP Zone Jammu.
As per the APHQ J&K orders, T Punchok, DIG IRP Range, Jammu, will function as incharge IGP Armed/IRP Zone Jammu till some other incumbent is posted.
