JAMMU, Mar 30: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Pulwama, Mir Munawar Hussain was today given a warm farewell by the officers and officials of the Department.
The farewell function was attended by the District Development Commissioner, Pulwama, Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Qazi Masood and other officers of the Department. Speaking on the occasion, DDC hailed the Assistant Commissioner Development for his dedicated services during his entire service career. Other officers also expressed their views and highlighted the achievements of the superannuating officer.
Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL), Dr Aziz Hajini was today accorded a warm send off by JKAACL staff at a function held at KL Saigal Hall. After completing his nearly 4 years tenure as Secretary JKAACL, Hajini shall attain superannuation tomorrow i.e. on 31st of this month. Besides, Hajini the Academy staff also accorded warm send off to two other officials namely Harpal Singh, Administrative Officer and Mohd Anwaar Peer, PA to Additional Secretary Jammu.
Department of Forests today held a function to bid an affectionate farewell to Chief Conservator Forests (CCF) Abdul Gani, who attained superannuation after serving the Department for 35 years. On the occasion, Gani was presented a shawl and a memento as a token of appreciation to his services for the Department. The officers and officials of the Department wished the retiring Chief Conservator a happy and prosperous post-retirement life. Besides, Mohammad Farooq Bhat, Head Assistant and Shakeela Bano were also given a warm send off on their superannuation.
Prominent anesthetist and Head, Department of Anesthesiology, SKIMS, Dr Imtiyaz Ahmad Naqash, who attained superannuation today, was accorded a warm send off by Director, SKIMS/EOSG, Dr Omar Javed Shah. All Head of Departments were present on the occasion. Director SKIMS/ EOSG, while bidding farewell to him, acknowledged his contributions as a dedicated and compassionate doctor.
Harbans Kour, Lecturer of District Institute of Education & Trainings (DIET), Reasi retired today after rendering about 35 years of service to Education department. In an emotional farewell function, Virender Dutta, Senior Lecturer threw light on the service career and family background of the outgoing official. OP Bhagat, Principal DIET Reasi in his speech said that the retirement of the outgoing officer is a great loss to the department.
Staff and officers of Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu accorded a graceful farewell to Santosh Kumari, Stenographer, Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu who retired today after rendering 34 years of service in the Department. Director of Agriculture Jammu, PS Rathore speaking on the occasion wished her a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.

A grand farewell function was organized today by Department of Youth Services and Sports Department to bid adieu to Neena Chadha, Physical Education Master, who is going to retire tomorrow i.e. 31-03-2019 after rendering dedicated 34 years of service in the Department. Joint Director, Assistant Director, District Officers and ZPEOs of Jammu Division of Youth Services and Sports Department including all staff members were present on the occasion. All of them wished the retiring officer a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
On the retirement of Mohd Sharief Daing, a senior teacher of High School, Kharwan of Zone Ukhral, who attained the age of superannuation, an impressive farewell function was organized by School administration. All the staff members including Head Master Mohd Yousuf Malik lauded the services of Mohd Sharief Daing wished him a successful and healthy post retirement life.
Directorate of School Education, Jammu today organized an impressive function to bid farewell to the Section Officers Raj Kumar Raina and Champa Sharma on attaining superannuation after rendering 40 and 35 years of meritorious services, respectively. Police Headquarters today accorded a farewell to the Sub Inspector Qamar Ali Khan at a function held at Conference Hall, Police Headquarters. IGP HQ, Shri Anand Jain, AIG (Provision & Transport) Mubassir Latifi and other officers of the department wished the retiring officer a healthy post retirement life.
