JAMMU, Aug 31: A warm send off was accorded to Bharat Bhushan, Secretary, J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Caste on his superannuation today.
A farewell party was organized in this connection by the staff members of the Board. Ex-Vice Chairperson of the Board, Bushan Lal Dogra, and other members of the board were also present. They all wished the retiring officer a happy and healthy life after retirement.
A warm and affectionate farewell was given to Dr Gurjeet Singh Soodan, Director Health Services, Jammu, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. The function in this connection was held in the Directorate office and was attended by Deputy Director HQ, Dr Chander Parkash, MD, NHM, Dr Mohan Singh, Dr Sanjeev puri, Assistant Director, State Epidemiologist, Dr JP Singh, CMO Jammu, Dr Sanjeev Puri and other officers, who wished the retiring officer a happy, healthy and prosperous post-retirement life.
A warm and affectionate farewell was accorded to Ram Lal Bhagat, Joint Director of Agriculture (Extension) Jammu, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation, by his colleagues and other staff members.
A farewell party was also organized for Nagesh Maghzine, Apiculture Development Assistant, Jammu, who also retired from his services today. All the staff members wished him a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Staff of Zonal Police Headquarter Jammu bid adieu to Mohd Amin, Deputy SP (S), who retired from the service on superannuation after rendering 38 years service in the Police Department. The function was organized by IGP Jammu Zone, Dr SD Singh, who along with Bhim Sen Tuti, DIG JSK Range, Vivek Gupta, SSP Jammu and other senior officers participated in the function and wished the retiring officer a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums, Old Secretariat, Jammu gave a warm send off to Girdhari Lal, Superintendent, State Archives Repository Jammu, who retired today after rendering 41 years of service at various posts in the department. He was bid farewell in a grand function organized today under the chairmanship of Tsering Tashi, Deputy Director and Dr Sangeeta Sharma, Assistant Director, in office complex of the department.
A warm farewell was today accorded to Sukh Ram, Producer, Cultural Wing of Department of Information and Public Relations on attaining the age of superannuation. The farewell function was held at Media Complex, Rail Head Jammu and attended by Joint Director Information, Naresh Kumar, Deputy Director Information (PR), Atul Gupta, Deputy Director Information (HQ), Priyanka Bhat, Deputy Director (Central), Avleen Kaur and other staff members. All the officers wished Sukh Ram a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Kathua Police today gave warm send off to three retiring police officers and officials namely ASI Banarsi Dass, Head Constable Abdul Aziz and Head Constable Kuldeep Kumar. The send off function was chaired by Shridhar Patil, SP Kathua. Nasir Ahmed, Additional SP Kathua and other senior serving and retired officers were also present on the occasion. Besides, members of Retired Police Welfare Association were also present.
A warm send off was also accorded to Kuldip Kumar Gupta, Headmaster, Govern-ment High School, Chore Motto (Babey) Udhampur, who retired on superannuation today after rendering 34 years and 3 months of service in the Education Department.
Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and Joint Director of Information Kashmir Division today accorded affectionate send off to Abdul Majid Dar, Section Officer, Kashmir Division on his retirement. In this connection an impressive function was held here today in which the employees of all wings of the department participated. Joint Director of Information Kashmir, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak presided over the function while as Assistant Directors Shakeela Shawl and Mohammad Aslam were also present.
A warm and affectionate send of was given to Madan Lal, Junior Assistant in Directorate of School Education, Jammu on attaining the age of superannuation. In this regard, an impressive farewell function was organizedin the office complex of the Directorate wherein the speakers appreciated the services rendered by the retiring official for the last 35 years and wished him a healthy and happy post retirement life.
Staff of Chief Agriculture Office Udhampur accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Himmat Kumar, Assistant Soil Chemist, Udhampur, who retired today after rendering 33 years of service to the Department. Chief Agriculture Officer, Udhampur, Ashok Verma, while speaking on the occasion, wished the retiring official a very healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Sukhdev Singh, Helper in the office of Plant Protection Officer, Jammu was also given warm send off in a decently organized function at Krishi Bhawan, Jammu today. Mementoes were presented to the retirees during the farewell programmes on behalf of the Department as a mark of honour and affection.
Doordarshan Kendra Jammu bid adieu to Janak Raj, MTS, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. He had joined the department on September 1993 and provided his dedicated services to the department for 25 years.
In a function organized today, Non-Teaching Employees Association SKUAST-Jammu accorded a warm send off to Vijay Sharma, Accounts Officer, FOA Chatha, who retired today after attaining the age of superannuation. The function was attended by Dr JP Sharma, Director Research, Dr KS Risan, Director Extension, other senior officers and office bearers of the association.
