JAMMU, Nov 28: Ware House Jammu has announced to use only Sanskrit tomorrow for conducting business and issuing bills etc.
This was informed by Deepak Gupta, President of Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu, while addressing a press conference, here today .
“Tuesday on November 29, Sanskrit Market will be inaugurated in biggest and oldest Grain Mandi of Jammu and Kashmir with the issuance of bills in Devvani Sanskrit only,” he said, adding that students of Central Sanskrit University will help the market people in issuing bills in Sanskrit.
He further informed that this day-long initiative is being taken in connection with birth centenary celebration of late Dr Uttamchand Shastri Pathak, a well known scholar of Sanskrit.
“Ware House-Nehru Market Jammu is celebrating the birth centenary of late Dr Uttamchand Shastri Pathak under the joint aegis of Chudamani Sanskrit Institute Basholi Jammu Kashmir, Shri Kailakh Astrology and Vedic Institute Trust Jammu Kashmir, Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus Jammu Kashmir and Sher-e- Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKAUST),” he added.
Professor Madan Mohan Jha, Director, Kendriya Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, who was also present on the occasion, said that from 30th November, classes will also be held to learn Sanskrit in the office of Ware House-Nehru Market, Jammu from 4pm to 5 pm.
Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Institute Trust said that soon they are going to start a mobile Gurukul as well, which will teach Devvani Sanskrit to the people in the entire JKUT.
