Ware House Association raises demands

JAMMU, Dec 19: Ware House Association here today raised development and cleanliness related demands before the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor, Chander Mohan Gupta who was on a visit to the Ware House area here today.
Association president, Rattan Lal Gupta; Deepak Gupta, General Secretary; Dheeraj Gupta, Senior Vice President; Abhimanyu Gupta, Cashier and Yash Pal Gupta, president Retailers Karyana Union met the Mayor and put-forth their demands like lifting of large quantity of Mulba lying near Floriculture Park along Tawi river, installation and repair of High Mast lights in and around Ware House area, strengthening of security as number of theft cases have taken place in the market due to lack of proper security and maintaining proper parking facility in Ware House to avoid continuous traffic congestion there.
The Mayor assured the Association that all their demands will be sorted out on war footing and directed the Chief Transport Officer & XEN (E) to immediately deploy their men and machinery in the Ware House area for redressal of the demands of the Association.
He also appealed to the gathering to avoid selling and using single use plastics and polythene.
Laxman Singh Jamwal, Executive Engineer (Electric); Talat Mehmood, Chief Transport Officer JMC and other also accompanied the Mayor.
