SRINAGAR, June 17: Chairperson J&K State Commission for Women, Nayeema Ahmad Mahjoor has taken strong note of beating up of girl inmates of Gujjar and Bakerwal hostel Tulsibagh by its warden.
Immediately after the issue was brought to her notice , she took up the matter with Director School Education, Kashmir and consequently the warden was placed under suspension till completion of the investigation.
It may be recalled some inmates of the Gujjar and Bakerwal hostel, Tulsi Bagh had approached the State Commission for Women and sought its intervention in the beating of inmates by the warden.
