JAMMU, July 6: Residents of Ward No. 34 today held a meeting under the chairpersonship of Councilor Rani Devi and formed `Jan Kalyan Welfare Committee” for routine nature of works.
Piaray Lal Angral was appointed Chairman of the Committee, Bharat Bushan Bhat as vice chairman and Raj Kumar as president.
Puran Singh, Shub Kumar, Mohammad Aslam, Yuvraj Singh and Ashwani Sarmal were appointed as vice presidents. Ranjeet Kumar was appointed as general secretary.
Bharat Bhushan, Ashok Kumar Sangotra, Kamal Warikoo, Shambu Naryal and Ashok Kumar Bhagat were elected as Secretaries. Rajeshwar Pal Verma, Jeet Singh and Ashwani Khajuria were appointed as joint secretaries while Sat Pal and Pinkle Mehra were named as press media secretaries. Suresh Dogra was appointed Cashier.
The Executive Members included Rishi Kumar, Manpreet Singh, Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, Devi Dass Mehra, Shambhu Nath, Bachan Lal, Mohan Singh, Sahil Dogra, Surinder Kumar and Amit Dogra.
