SRINAGAR:
Security forces achieved a major success when they unearthed a militant hideout and recovered war like stores, including pistols and RPG in the frontier district of Kupwara, official sources said here today.
They said on a tip off about a militant hideout, Army and State police launched a joint operation in the border area of Tangdhar in north Kashmir.
After a long search, security forces finally unearthed a hideout and recovered war like stores, they said, adding the recovered included six pistol, 12 magaines, 1500 rounds of ammunition, RPGs and other arms and ammunition.
The operation was still going on, they said, adding no one was arrested. (AGENCIES)
