Rajouri, Jan 24: Thanamandi police in Rajouri district today arrested an absconder who was evading his arrest in a case with a warrant of arrest was also issued against him by court.
The accused have been identified as Wasad Shah, son of Suleman Shah, resident of Mangota village in Thanamandi. He was absconding since 2019 in case FIR No 102/2019 and a warrant of arrest U/S 512 CrPC was issued against him by the Court of JMIC Thanamandi.
Police informed that a team of Police Station Thanamandi headed by PSI Vikas Khullar, under the supervision of SHO Thanamandi, Shoket Amin arrested the absconder from Mangota area and produced before the Court.
