want opportunities

Sir,
The impression gathered from the two phase voting in the State recently is that voters, particulary young voters in the State yearn for development and employment. While casting their votes, they had these things in mind and did not believe in cliches like secularism and communalism. The youth were critical of those who sought votes on religious and regional lines. Being quite apprehensive of the polarisation that is taking place in the State, they criticised the politicians for dividing society on communal lines. They wish that the country which is witnessing slow growth rate, price rise and high inflation be again on fast growth track.
Besides, they aspire that the country make its presence felt on world map by playing an important role in world affairs. The youth also wishes that institutes of higher learning be opened in the country so that they could have access to quality education. They feel that they could catch up with the rest of world only if they are provided opportunities to work and prove their worth.
Yours etc….
