DODA, Mar 30: Abdul Majid Wani, Minister for R&B and Mechanical Engineering declared today that the people of whole Chenab valley will come out to vote for son of soil Ghulam Nabi Azad, who has risen up to achieve the level of a national hero.
The minister said that despite of his high stature, he has continuously worked for growth and development of Chenab valley as well as the whole J&K State. People of whole Chenab valley have witness to the development process unleashed by the Congress Party during last one decade. We all have passed through a very remorseful phase of militancy when whole of Chenab valley was burning. Hundreds of valuable lives were lost.
Mr Wani said, after having seen a very tough time of militancy period, people have seen a wave of development and growth, which is not digested well by the divisive communal forces; these forces are bent upon dividing our society on communal lines just to reach the corridors of powers.
Majid Wani further informed that the one and half lac members of recently formed Gujjar front in Doda Udhampur segment have vowed to vote for Ghulam Nabi Azad. The Congress party would definitely win the seat with a huge record margin.
MLC Naresh Gupta, Mohd Aslam Goni, DCC President Doda Mohd Hanief Shah, Urfi Majeed Wani, Mohd Abdullah Banday, Ghulam Mohiudin Shan, Shankar Singh, Thakur Chuni Lal, Mohd Ashraf Malik, and block presidents of Congress Party were among senior leaders present on the occasion.
