NEW DELHI, Mar 25: Walnut prices rose by Rs 10 per kg in the national capital today in view of fresh buying support from retailers and stockists amid low stocks.
Furthermore, fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Walnut and its kernel prices increased by Rs 10 each to settle at Rs 300-450 and Rs 810-1,460 per kg, respectively.
Marketmen said, increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up walnut prices to rise.

Almond (California) Rs 17,200-17,400, Almond(Gurbandi-new) Rs 12,100-12,300, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,600-5,700; Abjosh Afghani Rs 8,000-23,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 610-615 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
