JAMMU, Aug 24: Citizen’s Forum has demanded waiving off of interest of six month bank interest for small business and MSME units in J&K to cope with the depression in business and industry in Jammu.
In a handout, Forum president, R.K Chadha said that business and industry is facing depression at present since the last three years because of demonetization and haphazard introduction of GST.
He also said that present security situation on border and LoC in J&K has further affected the business of Jammu and has put middle class and MSME units to maximum losses which are increasing with every passing day.
Chadha further claimed that even the Finance Minister, Nirmal Sitaraman has confirmed this situation prevailing throughout India.
