JAMMU, Aug 14: Aam Aadmi Party leader and DDC Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony today said that people exercising their right of franchise in favour of AAP will guarantee corruption free governance in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir during the forthcoming Assembly elections.
He was addressing a meeting during which a number of workers from BJP, Congress and National Conference joined the AAP with a resolve to strengthen party base at the grass roots level.
Tony welcomed the new entrants to the party fold and maintained that only Arvind Kejriwal has the caliber to provide corruption-free dispensation as BJP has proved to be a complete failure after all its promises have turned out to be mere Jumlas like two crore jobs every year, Rs 15 lakh in poor man’s bank account and above all containing rising prices of essentials including fuel. He said that only Kejriwal can do justice to youth, farmers, businessmen and the poor people as all other entities in the political arena have fallen flat after succumbing to pressure of ‘big sharks’, who manipulated their Governments for satiating vested interests.
Tony said voting for AAP is not beneficial at individual level but is benevolent for the entire country as one can see the Delhi and Punjab models of the AAP Governments, where despite dearth of funds, the helmsmen have achieved a lot and providing so much to the common man that top hierarchy in the BJP which is in power has to give ‘absurd’ statements like Free Ki Revris, etc.
“Kejriwal Government is fighting poverty, providing excellent education system, launching employment oriented schemes, creating world class healthcare infrastructure and promised corruption free Government,” Tony said, adding that a Kg or two Kg free ration with pictures of party leaders is the example of Free ki Revris, and should be checked by those who are giving sermons to others.
The joining programme was organized by Mandeep Choudhary, Ashraf Choudhary and Waseem Choudhary. The youth hailing from different areas like Gadigarh, Azad Nagar, Digiana, Uttam Nagar, Kunjwani, Santok Vihar, Gangyal, Langar Colony, Satwari and Ashok Nagar joined the party.
On the occasion, AAP leader Bal Krishna, Mohinder Singh, former President Gurdwara Sahib Rani Talab and Ashok were also present.
