KATHUA, Apr 4: The BJP senior leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Parshad Moriya while campaigning in favour of Union Minister and party candidate for Udhampur-Parliamentary constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh and BJP candidate from Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that casting vote in favour of BJP candidate will ensure that Narendra Modi will take the reigns of Government at Centre again.
Addressing public rallies at village Rattanpur Sarada in Tehsil Hiraganar of Kathua district and at RS Pura in Jammu district today, he criticized the Congress party for its pro separatist policies. Click here to watch video
He said that the Congress is befooling the innocent people on the name of vote bank. The party has given only corruption, deceived and cheated the people of the country by hollow slogans, was responsible for poverty, and dividing the people on communal lines just for sake of power.
He said the manifesto of Congress is bundle of lies and dangerous for nation as it wants to handover Kashmir to Pakistan. He said that BJP Government has vision of development and under the leadership of PM Modi, the Government showed courage to takes bold decision in favour of common man. He said Congress would be washed away in Uttar Pradesh and BJP would get 73 seats in the ensuing elections.
Moriya listed the various development projects undertaken in the country and in J&K also during Modi regime. He appealed the people to vote for Modi which will be a vote for prosperity of common man.
He said he has come to you with the good wishes of 23 crore people of UP and assured the people of Jammu especially living along the border that no one can harm them by making hollow slogans of a separate PM or protection to Article 370 and 35 A as entire nation is solidly behind you.
He, while highlighting various schemes launched by Modi Government said that these schemes are not for a particular community but for all sections of society irrespective of their religion, caste and region. To give people benefit of various schemes the Modi Government first of all opened the bank accounts for those who have no bank account so that the money sanctioned for them under various welfare schemes should directly go to their accounts instead of being snatched by middle men.
BJP State spokesman, Brig (retd) Anil Gupta, BJP district president, Prem Nath Dogra, ex-MLA Kuldeep Raj, Rashpal Verma, advocate Vijay Sharma, also addressed the rally.
The rally at RS Pura besides, Brig Gupta was attended by MLC Vikram Randhawa and Vijeshwar Rana.
