JAMMU, Jan 6: Theatre group ‘Vomedh Rangmanch’ here today began 2nd season of Terrace Theatre by staging 1st episode of its much talked about Terrace Theatre Series where short play ‘Nanhi Kali’ written by Rajni Bhatti and directed by Rohit Bhat was staged.
Theatre Artist King C Bharati was chief guest on the occasion and the episode was hosted by Anita Sharma.
The neighbours and theatre lovers assembled on the terrace and watched the play.
“This was a path breaking concept to revive the old cultural neighbourhood bonding on the terrace and at the same time promoting art and culture,” Rohit Bhat, Director Vomedh said.
Rakesh Roshan Bhat, playwright also spoke on the occasion.
The artists who performed in the play were Bharati Kaul, Himagini Moza, Ishu Bharati Pandit, Suman Bhat, Priya Khar and Aarohi Moza Balgotra.
