NEW DELHI: Telecom services major Vodafone India  today launched its next generation, high-speed 4G network in Delhi and NCR. This follows launch of 4G services by the company in Kerala, Karnataka and Kolkata. Built on the efficient  MHz band, this state-of-the-art network will enable its customers to access internet via mobile with speeds across a range of smart devices including Mobile Wi-Fi in Delhi and NCR, Vodafone said.

Vodafone has a large retail footprint with 273 exclusive Vodafone stores spread across in the city.

The key features of Vodafone 4G services are superior network, high-speed downloads /uploads and a fast and seamless mobile internet experience, which enhance experience of music, videos, chats, mobile gaming and two-way video calling with faster response time and unlimited movies.

This services can be readily accessed from 4G-enabled handsets offered by leading smartphone manufacturers available across the country.

Vodafone will increase the intensity of its 4G rollout to cover important metros  Mumbai and Bengaluru shortly, the company said.

“Testing of 4G services in these locations has already commenced successfully and Vodafone India has partnered with leading global technology service providers for the network roll-out,” the company added.

To cater to the growing volumes of customer usage increasing need for speed, the company invested over Rs 800 crores in FY2016 to expand, modernise and build an energy efficient network. (AGENCIES)
