To build Atamnirbhar Bharat we have to take measures like Vocal for Local at the village level. Back to village policy of the present dispensation is a right maxim in the direction towards Atamnirbhar Bharat. Making villages connected with towns and cities will boost economy at the grass root level. Local products will reach to the market afresh. Business units at the village level such as dairy farming, fisheries and vegetable cultivation etc sectors can grow exponentially. Our women folk at their leisure hours will establish tailoring units that can add to their income and make them self relient. In several parts of the country milk products and the cooperative sector have created a successful supply chain. Govt do not have any significant control on the trade of fruits and vegetables. Fruit trade is running and is regulated by the farmers on their own. Poultry farming is increasing and has yielded good results so far. Our unemployed educated youth too have raised such units at their doorsteps. They are quite satisfied. There is earnest demand for the local products in and outside of the country. In order to institute Atamnirbhar Bharat, Cooperative Societies can play a major role in the formation of societies at the grass root level who can nourish village level small farmings without the intervention of the Govt. The plan Vocal for Local will get materailised.
